There is lots of family fun in Cocoa Beach and the Space Coast so to get you going we have a few suggestions of things we like. Whether a whole day tour or some quick fun activities along the beach will put some smiles on the faces and make some memories of your time here.
Kennedy Space Center
KSC Visitor Center, Got Space!
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex located in North Merritt Island is the visitor center at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island, Florida. Your will need a full day to check out all the exhibits and displays, historic spacecraft and memorabilia, shows, two IMAX theaters, and a range of bus tours of the spaceport. The Space Shuttle Atlantis building is amazing, besides housing the shuttle it has many other exhibits including a launch simulator. There is some much to see and do at KSC you will have a out of this world experience.
Golf &gator, Cape Canaveral
Mini Golf, Go Carts & Gator Feeding
Nothing but fun! Looking just to have a good time while staying in Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral area Golf & Gator is your place. With 36 holes of mini golf built around a mountain, a gator pond where you can feed them and a newer raised Go Kart track built Mario Kart style complete with boosters. Whether one activity or a package deal to do them all, the whole family will have some fun.

Zipline & Ropes Adventure
For the adventures seeker this is your place. Located right on A!A in Cape Canaveral the park will suspend the participant in the air on 45 ft poles as they navigate their way through 49 unique challenges set in a canopy of beautiful live oak trees. they have 7 different courses with 3 skill levels so everyone can enjoy.
Veterans Museum, Merritt Island
Military History Museum
Located just across the bridge from Cocoa Beach lies the Veterans memorial Center. Beside offering many programs to help veterans they have a truly impressive Military history museum. The museum is 2 stories and house a huge collection from the Revolutionary War up to the modern war on terror. The also recently installed a periscope from a decommissioned submarine that you can use to scope out the area.
The museum is always FREE, though they do have a donation box to help support the museum and a store that sells military souvenirs, proceeds go to support their causes.
